In Wyoming, residential settings that care for vulnerable adults and seniors — assisted living facilities, nursing homes and home-care services — rely on certified nurse aides who can respond to a medical emergency. To keep residents safe, these settings expect their care staff to be trained in first aid and CPR.

Assisted living facilities, nursing homes (long-term care) and home-care services; certified nurse aide standards are overseen by the Wyoming State Board of Nursing and the Wyoming Department of Health.
急救要求
Care staff working with residents are expected to hold current CPR training. In Wyoming, Healthcare Provider level CPR certification is required to enter the nurse aide training program, with a copy presented at the first class, so aides reach residential care already prepared to respond to cardiac and choking emergencies.
A recognized, up-to-date CPR and first-aid certificate is the way to meet this requirement; it is in addition to the aide's occupational training and must be renewed periodically.
